O Worship The King

Anyone can sing, shout, testify and give God fleshly worship, but only a believer who is in a vital, love relationship with Jesus can give Him pure, perfect worship — one who obeys His Word. 

Psalm 135:1-3 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the name of the Lord; praise him, O ye servants of the Lord. 

[2] Ye that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God, 

[3] Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

As you find yourself drawn deeper into His worship, you will find that He will become more real to you. 

His presence will become more precious. 

His Word will become more powerful. 

His house will become a greater source of joy. 

As you worship Him, He will respond by speaking to your heart in new and deeper ways.

Jesus Loves Me

My inbox and two phones have been rudely invaded by telemarketers, advertising merchandise or opinions I don’t want to hear. Seems everyone gets them. 

But there is one message you and I should never reject. It’s an important message from God.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

People around you may question your worth, but God declares you to be worth His Son. 

Unlike human love, God’s love is never ending - Jer. 31:3. His love is always given first, 1 John 4:19. His love is precious beyond words. 

“Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so.”

I praise the Lord that I did not hang up the day He called me. I believed. How about you?

God Is Good

Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him

When the storms of life rise against you, you will discover that there is a place of refuge for the child of God. 

You will discover that there is peace in the midst of the storm. 

You will discover that God is directing your paths for his glory, Proverbs 3:5-6. 

Job understood this truth, Job 23:10 and so did David, Psalm 37:23. 

We need to learn the truth that even when we can’t see the way, the Lord is the way.

God is good! Trust Him.

Hopeless Cases

The Bible is filled with impossible, hopeless cases — storms, needs, deaths, sicknesses — yet they are handled with ease by the power of a sovereign God.

Mark’s Gospel tells us about a raging storm, a man filled with demons, a dead little girl, the woman with an issue of blood crawling through a crowd to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, and others. 

Mark 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Jesus steps into each one of these assumed impossible situations and proves that He is more than capable of handling whatever happens in our lives. .

Do you have a need? There are no impossible situations with God. Take your problems to Jesus and leave them there.
