PROMISES

People make promises to do or not to do something. Sometimes they get broken. God's promises are binding and sure because He cannot lie(Titus 1:2), and what He promises, he is able to perform (Romans 4:21)

Many of God's promises are conditional -- if we do something, He will do something. Here are some:

Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on The Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

James 4:7  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you . . .

James 4:10  Humble yourselves in the sight of The Lord, and he shall lift you up.

One of my favorite promises is in John 14:3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself: that where I am, there ye may be also.

Another in Hebrews 13:5 . . . I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.
