Does peace mean freedom from conflict? No! Jesus said, “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Peace in the storm is perfect peace.

The Bible says that the peace of God passes all understanding. When I had breast cancer, God gave me peace. My sister, Ruthie, didn’t understand it. “You’re not even concerned,” she yelled over the phone.

“No, I’m not,” I replied. “I put it in God’s hands.” I didn’t know the outcome, but understood God would help me through it.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Jesus spoke this at the last supper, preparing the disciples for when he left.

We have peace with God but that’s not where it stops. Peace is one of the fruits of the spirit, and we are to extend peace one to another.

Jairus, a ruler of the synagogue, ran up to Jesus and fell down at his feet. “Hurry, you’ve got to come. My daughter is dying.”

Surrounded by the multitudes, the lady with the blood issue slowed them down, but Jesus didn’t seem to be in a hurry. Then bad news came. The girl had already died. That didn’t stop Jesus. “Be not afraid; only believe,” He told the man, and then he asked Peter, James, and John to go with them to the man’s house.

They arrived during the funeral, neighbors and friends weeping and wailing in the house. “She’s not dead, but sleeping,” Jesus said. Their wails turned to laughter. These people didn’t understand who they were dealing with. Swooshing them outside, Jesus went to the twelve-year-old girl’s bed, took her hand, and said, “Arise.” She did. Then Jesus told them to feed her.

All things are possible. Only believe.

Our eyes are the main gate leading into our minds, imagination, and hearts. Just one look can be powerful and life-changing. There are many in the world today that are looking to morality or church membership for salvation? You must look to Jesus. You must be born again.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

We will be in our glorified bodies, like HIM.. All sickness will be eliminated. Death will be swallowed up in victory. Disappointment, discouragement, and depression will be gone forever, never to return again. Will you be counted among the redeemed?

Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.

Are you looking for Him?

The word "come" is one of God's favorite words.  Satan's favorite word is "tomorrow". Tomorrow never comes.

Jesus bid the multitude to come unto him in Matthew 11:28-30. His arms reach out to humanity today with the same call.

Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

Are you tired? Jesus wants to give you rest. This is a call to trust Him, serve Him, and learn of Him through Bible study. Why would anyone resist such an offer? Pride? Rebellion? Come to Jesus as you are. You'll never be good enough.
Jesus is not a brow-beater. He is meek and lowly in heart.

Grace is greater than any sin. Jesus is the best thing that ever happened to me.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced low points in my life. Many years ago I was at a point where I wondered if God really cared for me and my situation. I felt so alone.

This is what I learned. He was there all the time, waiting patiently for me to give it to Him when I couldn't carry it any longer. That's when he picked me up, lightened my load, and brightened my path. If not for grace...

When you come to your lowest point, it's not the end, it's the beginning.
