It Is No Secret What God Can Do

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

If you personally know Jesus, you are a partaker of His everlasting, eternal, new, heavenly life, 2 Cor. 5:17.

What He did for you, He can do for anyone who truly, genuinely trusts Him as their personal Savior.

It Is No Secret What God Can Do

The chimes of time ring out the news   —   Another day is through.   —   Someone slipped and fell,   —   Was that someone you?   —   You may have longed for added strength   —   Your courage to renew.   —   Do not be disheartened   —   For I have news for you.

CHORUS:

It is no secret what God can do. — What He's done for others, He'll do for you. — With arms wide open, He'll pardon you. — It is no secret what God can do.

There is no night for in His light — You'll never walk alone. — Always feel at home   —   Wherever you may roam.   —   There is no power can conquer you   —   While God is on your side.   —   Just take Him at His promise,   —   Don't run away and hide. - - -

Hold To God’s Unchanging Hand

Psalm 89:13 Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.

God wants us to come to the place that

even when we don’t understand our situation,

we merely hold to His hand and trust Him.

Hold To God’s Unchanging Hand

Time is filled with swift transition,  —   Naught of earth unmoved can stand,  —   Build your hopes on things eternal,  —   Hold to God’s unchanging hand.

CHORUS:

Hold to God’s unchanging hand,  —   Hold to God’s unchanging hand;  —   Build your hopes on things eternal,  —   Hold to God’s unchanging hand.

Trust in Him who will not leave you,  —   Whatsoever years may bring,  —   If by earthly friends forsaken  —   Still more closely to Him cling. - - -

Covet not this world’s vain riches  — That so rapidly decay, — Seek to gain the heav’nly treasures,  —   They will never pass away. - - -

When your journey is completed,  —   Faith and grace has brought you through. — Fair and bright the home in glory — Your enraptured soul will view. - - -

Revive Us Again

1 Chronicles 29:11 Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.

Identifying the Lord for all His glory will put muscle to our faith when we pray.

Remember this when we pray for revival.

Psalm 85:6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

Revive Us Again

We praise Thee, O God! — For the Son of Thy love, — For Jesus Who died, — And is now gone above.

CHORUS:

Hallelujah! Thine the glory!    —   Hallelujah! Amen!    —   Hallelujah! Thine the glory!    —   Revive us again.

We praise Thee, O God!  — For Thy Spirit of light,  — Who has shown us our Savior,  — And scattered our night. - - -

All glory and praise  — To the Lamb that was slain,  —  Who has borne all our sins, —  And has m cleansed every stain. - - -

Revive us again;  — Fill each heart with Thy love;  — May each soul be rekindled  — With fire from above. - - -

The Longer I Serve Him

Romans 5:1-2 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

[2] By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

To intimately know my gracious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is a never ending joy.

The longer I serve Him, the sweeter He grows.

Since I started for the Kingdom,   —    Since my life He controls,   —    Since I gave my heart to Jesus,   —    The longer I serve Him,   —    The sweeter He grows.

CHORUS:

The longer serve Him, the sweeter He grows,   —    The more that I love Him, more love He bestows; — Each day is like heaven, my heart overflows, — The longer I serve Him, the sweeter He grows.

Ev'ry need He is supplying, — Plenteous grace He bestows; —    Ev'ry day my way gets brighter, — The longer I serve Him, —  The sweeter He grows. - - -

Trusting Jesus

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

I’m glad we don’t serve a God who has left us to make it in life the best we can.

No! We serve a Lord who is able to help us with our daily needs. (Matt. 7:7-8)

Trusting Jesus

Simply trusting every day,—  Trusting through a stormy way; —  Even when my faith is small,  —  Trusting Jesus, that is all.

CHORUS::

Trusting as the moments fly,  — Trusting as the days go by; —  Trusting Him whate’er befall,  —    Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Brightly doth His Spirit shine  —   Into this poor heart of mine;  —    While He leads I cannot fall;  —    Trusting Jesus, that is all. - - -

Singing if my way is clear, — Praying if the path be drear; —  If in danger for Him call;  —    Trusting Jesus, that is all.- - -

Trusting Him while life shall last,  —    Trusting Him till earth be past; — Till within the jasper wall,— Trusting Jesus, that is all. - - -

Sunshine In My Soul

Psalm 97:11-12  Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

[12] Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

The sunshine is the light Jesus gives to believers.

He hears the music in our soul, the songs we can’t sing.

There is sunshine in my soul today,   —   More glorious and bright   —   Than glows in any earthly sky,   —   For Jesus is my light.

CHORUS:

Oh, there’s sunshine, blessed sunshine,   —   When the peaceful, happy moments roll;   —   When Jesus shows His smiling face,   —   There is sunshine in my soul.

There is music in my soul today,   —   A carol to my King;   —

And Jesus, listening, can hear   —   The songs I cannot sing. - - -

There is springtime in my soul today,   —   For, when the Lord is near,   —   The dove of peace sings in my heart,   —   The flow’rs of grace appear. - - -

There is gladness in my soul today,   —   And hope and praise and love,   —   For blessings which He gives me now,   —   For joys laid up above. - - -

Precious Lord, Take My Hand

Isaiah 41:13  For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

What comfort!

I never would’ve made it this far without Jesus holding my hand

The good Lord wants to enable us to walk with Him, have fellowship with Him, and know Him.

Precious Lord, Take My Hand

Precious Lord, take my hand,  —   Lead me on, let me stand,   —    I am tired, I am weak, I am worn; — Through the storm, through the night, — Lead me on to the light: —  Take my hand, precious Lord,   —    Lead me home.

When my way grows drear,   —    Precious Lord, linger near,   —    When my life is almost gone,   —    Hear my cry, hear my call,   —    Hold my hand lest I fall:   —    Take my hand, precious Lord,   —    Lead me home.

When the darkness appears   —    And the night draws near,   —    And the day is past and gone, — At the river, I stand, —  Guide my feet, hold my hand:   —    Take my hand, precious Lord,   —    Lead me home.
