God's People And If

The greatest need humanity faces today is not a solution to the economic or social crisis but the salvation of souls and a spiritual revival of God's people.
2 Chronicles 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
This message is to backslidden Christians who need to humble themselves and seek the face of God, conforming their ways to God's Word. If they do, then they will have revival and healing as will their nation.
Genuine repentance and faith will make a difference in our homes, our communities, and our nation. And God will receive all the glory.
Oh, how we and our nation needs this. Everything hinges on "IF".

God Wants All Of Us

Some Christians like to pick and choose how much of God they have in their lives. One, two or three church services a week? Short or long daily prayers? Devotionals or Bible studies or both?
God wants all of you and me all the time so that His Spirit can direct our lives, molding us to His purpose and right choices.
If that's what you want, diligently seek Him with all your heart every day. Praise Him and thank Him every day. Study His Word every day.
Acts 17:27,28 That they should seek The Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live and move and have our being . . . .
The most miserable Christians are those outside the will of God. It's a lonely place.
If you've never known God, ask Jesus to come into your heart and forgive your sins. Accept Him as your personal Savior.

Empty Vessels Made Full

Her husband died and creditors will be taking the widow's two sons as slaves to work off debts she can't pay. With empty purse and desperate, she turns to the man of God, Elisha. (2 Kings 4:1-7).
"What do you need and what do you have?" he asked.
She only had a pot of oil. He told her to borrow vessels from neighbors and fill them from the oil pot. She obeyed.
Can you imagine the excitement as she and her sons fill vessel after vessel. What a miracle! She sold the oil, paid her debts, and lived in comfort.
Sometimes God has to empty us so He can fill us with blessings and use us for His purpose.
Ephesians 3:20,21 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Use your faith. Let God amaze you in desperate times.

Never Forsaken

Awaiting his execution, scheduled the next morning, Peter is chained between two soldiers, sleeping like a baby. God had given him that "peace that passeth understanding".
The bars, the locks, the guards, and the walls proved to be no barrier to The Lord. When the angel rescued Peter, chains fell off and doors opened by themselves.
God has never forsaken His children. You will never be alone in the prisons of your life. He has a purpose for each one. He allows you to pass through. It may be to grow you or help someone else. It may be to glorify The Lord.
God wants us to come to a place where we simply trust Him for all we need and all we face.
Romans 8:18  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Place your burden at the feet of Jesus and leave it there.

I've Got A Home In Gloryland

The beauty and glory of Holy Jerusalem, as described in Revelation  21, overwhelms my mind with joy and expectation.
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
Heaven is the Bridegroom's (Jesus') love gift to His Bride (the church). John 14:1-3
Sin, temptation and fear will be missing in Heaven. God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit will be there.
I'll be rejoicing and worshipping in their Holy presence. I'll also be singing alongside the saints of every nation "in voice" with the Heavenly Choir.
I pray that people will accept Jesus as their personal Savior so they can go too.
I've got a home in Gloryland that outshines the sun . . .

No Longer Condemned

What does someone have to do to go to hell? Absolutely nothing. We were all born with a sinful nature, separated from God. If we choose to do nothing about our fallen condition, we stand condemned by God. But what can we do?
We can believed in Jesus as our personal Savior, because He paid our sin debt on the cross.
The sin of unbelief is what sends people to hell. When you believe on Jesus, He washes your sins away by His precious blood.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.
In Christ Jesus the saved/redeemed walk in the guidance of the Holy Spirit and are no longer dominated by the flesh. In Jesus our salvation was secured at Calvary.
Praise God for providing what I could never earn or deserve. I am no longer condemned.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is a Person, Presence, and Voice Who connects us with God because He is God.
John 14:16,17 And I will pray the father, and he shall give you another Comforter that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; Whom the world cannot receive because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him: for He dwelleth with you and shall be in you.
Romans 8:9 . . . . Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ,  he is none of his.
The Holy Spirit leads us through our prayer life, through time in the scriptures, through teaching and preaching, through situations and experiences.
The voice of the Holy Spirit will be consistent with God's Word, His fruit--love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. He always lifts up Jesus Christ, not Himself.
