1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
This is a good prayer for believers to pray and pray often. We ought to want God’s blessings and an expansion of our influence and outreach for The Lord. We should want God’s power in our lives.
We should pray for help in facing life day by day and in staying pure for the glory of the Lord. This is not a selfish prayer.
God heard the prayer of Jabez and granted his request because He honors prayers that honor Him. The awesome power of God is available to every Christian who will trust Him.
Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
NORMA DAVIS ---- There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus . . . Romans 8:1

The Kingdom Of God
Mark 4:30-32 And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.
There’s no question that the Kingdom of Jesus was like the tiny mustard seed. In the beginning there was Jesus and some uneducated fishermen, a few revolutionaries, some women and a traitor --- 120 devoted followers before the Day of Pentecost. But on that day over 3,000 believed. Not many days later it was said that the church in Jerusalem numbered some 50,000.
The Kingdom of God has expanded enormously, and one day a vast multitude that can’t be numbered will stand before the Lord in Heaven and praise Him for saving them by His grace,
If you are a child of God, dedicate your life to Him. He can use you in ways you would never believe.
If you are not a child of God, confess your sins and believe on Him. He won’t turn you away, and He’ll do more in and through your life than you can imagine.

Give It To God
God is never surprised by life or caught off guard. He doesn’t have a “Plan B”. He knows in advance what will happen. Our God is a sovereign God who is in control of all things, of all people, at all times.
Sometimes the path we believers travel takes an unexpected turn that slaps us in the face and we feel helpless. Many of us have been there. What to do?
The sooner we understand that we lack the power to fix our problem, the sooner we will rely on the power of The Lord. It's a time to humble ourselves at the feet of Jesus and give it to him. Abide in Him and believe, then expect victory no matter how harsh the trial.
John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

The Essence Of True Worship
Isn’t it true that believers go to church to get a blessing? I do. Isn’t it true that we go to God in prayer because we have a need? Yes. Isn’t it true that we often engage in what we call worship because of what we want to get out of it?
Nothing is wrong to want a blessing or pray for a need, but It’s not worship. Genuine biblical worship is not about us getting anything, it’s about us being lost in the wonder of Who God is.
When David was told by his friend Nathan that God would establish David’s throne and kingdom forever, David simply sat down in the presence of God and basked in His glory and goodness. David was overcome with wonder and praise. That’s the essence of true worship.
2 Samuel 7:22 Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

When Jesus Comes
Thessalonians 4:16-17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
When Jesus comes for us we will have the privilege of seeing Him as He really is. Throughout eternity we will see the beauty of the holes in His hands and feet and the wounds on His back and side. That's our reason for rejoicing. That's our salvation.
Oh, for a thousand tongues to sing praises unto the King .
Have you bowed at His feet and received Him into your heart. Have you asked Him to be your Savior and Lord? Have you given Him the exalted place He deserves in your life?

The Voice Of God
The papers Saul carried on the road to Damascus gave him authority to kill, beat or imprison Christians as he often did in the name of religion. But this time Jesus brought him to his knees.
Acts 9:3-4 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
The voice Saul (Paul) heard on the Damascus Road was the same voice that spoke the world into existence, that spoke to Moses at the burning bush. It’s the same voice that said, “Lazarus come forth” and “Father forgive them for they know not what they do” and “It is finished.”
Jesus saved Saul that day and changed his name to Paul, using him in a mighty way to establish churches during His three missionary jorneys. While in a Roman prison for preaching the gospel the Lord inspired him to write a large portion of the New Testament.
God’s voice is the same yesterday, today, and forever. When He speaks to us it should shake us to the core. He will use us for His glory when we surrender to Him.

Power In The Blood
Colossians 1:12-14 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
The salvation believers enjoy in Christ Jesus came to us through His blood. We are free from sin and judgment today because He died for us. Our sins are forgiven, we have the ability to live a holy life, and have the hope of Heaven. Did I say He loves us?
When Jesus came into our hearts He exchanged our lost condition for His perfectly righteous condition. He exchanged our separation for His closeness. Peace was declared between us and God.
The blood of Jesus is so powerful that it can take the vilest of sinners and wash them so clean that in the sight of God they are viewed as a sacred thing, spotless and beyond accusation ---not because of what we did --- but because God sees the righteousness of His beloved Son Jesus in believers.
