Words Of Comfort

When the last power tumbles, Jesus will reign, and there will be peace In the valley for me.

Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

In a land where we’ll never grow old.

The King is coming.

Because He livesuse I can face tomorrow.

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Walk With Jesus

Life threating perils surround David, but he still wants to do the will of God. This ought to be the goal of every saint. We would do well to pray his prayer every morning.

Psalm 143:8,10 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. . . Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

When we fail to walk with the Lord we bring dishonor to Him and discouragement to our hearts. Without God we can do nothing.

A daily walk with Jesus is a path out of dark valleys. With God’s help we can beat the circumstances we fear. Don't let it beat you.

A daily walk with Jesus helps us to shine for His glory.

Reach Out To Jesus

I believe that the God who controls the path of every atom in every molecule in this universe has time for you when you call on Him in faith.

Many come to Jesus because they are afraid of Hell. Their faith is small and they don’t understand the deep things of God.

But Jesus sees their small, humble faith as they reach out to Him, and He saves them.

Soon they discover they got far more than a fire insurance policy.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

When a sinner reaches out to Jesus in faith (even a small amount), He saves them and changes them.

When believers bring their problems to Jesus in faith, our compassionate Lord still cares. He is still mending broken hearts and drying tears. He still answers prayers.

Reach out to Jesus. He’s reaching out to you.

God’s Sovereign Leadership

God put the Apostle Paul in prison so he might expand his ministry. He had a lot of time on his hands, and he used it to write many of his epistles. He also told people about Jesus and some, even in Caesar’s household, were saved.

The path of life never takes us where we imagine. We rarely know what’s best because we lack information. We can’t see very far down the road.

If you are saved, and you belong to the Lord, you are under His direction. He determines where the path of life leads you.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Regardless of where we find ourselves in life, we must come to the place where we are confident in God’s sovereign leadership or we will never have peace and joy.

This Little Light Of Mine

There is no greater witness than a born again believer reflecting the light of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

When I yield to Jesus and He lives His life through me, I prove to the world that my profession of faith is real, and that Jesus Christ really does possess the power to transform a broken life into a thing of immense beauty, Eph. 2:1-10.

Our purpose is not to make people look at what we do and say, “Man, what a great Christian.”  No!  We want them to see us and say, “They must serve a great God. I’d like to know Him too.

This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine—let it shine—let it shine—let it shine.

Praise God

In every situation there’s room to praise God.

Psalm 136:1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

God does the miraculous as easy as we humans draw breath. He spoke the universe into being and everything in it operates on split second timing, Isa. 40:12.

The Lord controls all things. He delivers, saves, directs and defends His people.
When we are fallen, frail and forgetful, He never forsakes us.

God gives the food we need to make the journey and knows when to wrap His arms around us and whisper sweet peace.

When everything is said and done we find that— concerning God—it’s never all said and done. He’s always going somewhere great and doing something big.

As long as there is a God, there will be a reason to praise His great name.

The Peace Of God

There’s a peace of God that comes with total surrender to Him in all things.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

It’s the peace of God that overwhelms our worries and helps us rest in the will of God even when we can’t see the path ahead.

God gave me peace with cancer when I told Him I wasn’t afraid to die, but if He wanted to keep me on this planet, I asked Him to help me with the nausea of chemo. That was my greatest fear.

The Lord answered my prayer. During a year of treatment I never got nauseous.

I wish everyone diagnosed with cancer or any threatening disease has an intimate relationship with the Lord. He whispers sweet peace to you when you need it most

Seek Him.
