The Ressurection And Hope

The hope of the resurrection of Christ should fill our hearts with joy.

Matthew 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

The resurrection proves that our God is sovereign and in absolute control.
Because He conquered death, hell, and the grave, so will believers conquer the grave.

It should give us courage because Jesus and is seated at the right hand of God praying on our behalf, Heb. 13:5; Heb. 7:25!

Salvation And Hope

Most who knew Jesus the final moments of His life on earth denied His deity. He was not embraced as the Christ, but that didn’t hinder His atoning work on the cross.
This world will never know my name, but Jesus does. What a joy to be counted among the redeemed of God, the saved by grace through faith.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Our names are recorded in the Lamb’s Book of Life. We will be welcomed into the glories of heaven and the presence of our precious Lord.
Jesus fully satisfied the righteous demands of God.

Thank God there is salvation and hope in Christ the Lord.

God’s Love

God's love can never be fully understood, but It’s best seen at the cross and It’s based on grace.
1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

It’s His death on the cross that released His precious blood and that opened the door of salvation for every sinner who will come to Jesus

Stand In God’s Strength

When we reach the place where our circumstances control our joy and steal our peace, we need to rest on God’s promises.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

No one can steal your joy or piece.  You have to give it up all by yourself.

When we allow the trials of life to take the wind out of our spiritual sails, call on the Lord, knowing that God alone has the power to fix that which is broken in life.

Seek the Lord. Stand in His strength and watch Him work it out for you.

The Precious Nature Of Our Faith

Considering the precious nature of our faith, we should never be guilty of taking it for granted.

We should promote it and protect it against the evils of our day.

2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

You see, the way we believe is being attacked by the world. We are called intolerant and narrow-minded because we say that Jesus is the only way to heaven.

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

According to the Bible, we are totally right. Therefore, we must cherish our faith.

How? By living for Jesus with every fiber of our being. By cherishing and seeing the value in the things He has given us.

Sunshine For Cloudy Days

Jesus’ heaven is our heaven. His place of reward is ours too.

He promised to make this special place for us and return to take us there some day.

John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

That’s enough sunshine for the cloudiest of days. Instead of being discouraged, remember that serving the Lord is not in vain,

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord

Whom Shall I Fear?

David was well aware that God had brought him to where he currently stood.

Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

That alone is reason to rejoice and fill our hearts with hope.

We have been saved through the blood of Jesus and received a glorious hope in Him.

Many times our flesh is weak, but there is strength in the Lord. We’ve all had those giants come against us that we couldn’t defeat, but God supplied the strength to make it through. It was His strength and power that brought the victory.

May we never forget what the Lord has done for us—our salvation—deliverance from a life of darkness—our strength. Whom shall we fear?

All that we are and ever hope to be rests in His mercies and provision.
