The Door Of The Ark

Were it not for the amazing grace of God, Noah would never have known about the flood that would kill him or the Ark that would save him.

When God shut the door of the Ark Noah was on the inside looking out, and the world was on the outside looking in. There was only one ark, and there was only one door.

There's only one way to be saved from sin and  hell ---- God's way. God's way is believing on  the Lord Jesus Christ who said, “I am the door.”

John 10:9  I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Is God calling you to come into the Ark of Salvation? Are you ready to flee the wrath that is coming on the earth? Come into the Ark and be saved today. Believe on Jesus.

The Believer's Hope

When you consider  death, diseases, natural disasters, evil, and all the other negative things that fill our world, there’s not a lot of room for hope, but believers in Jesus have hope.

I don’t know what tomorrow will bring. It may bring death, disease and disaster. It may bring sorrow, pain and hardship or It may bring blessings, joy and happiness. I do know for sure that one of our tomorrows Jesus Christ will come for His own.

Titus 2:13-14  Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

The hope of the believer is wrapped up in the second coming of Jesus Christ. He is the hope for all our tomorrows.

True Love

Those who truly care for the needs of others display the spirit of Christ. This is "Empathy". People like knowing they are cared for.

Galatians 6:2  Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

There are times when we can’t help bear a load physically, but we can be there for them spiritually. We can pray for them.

Whatever we say about helping people, to make a difference we must love them.

1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

Genuine love among Christian brothers and sisters  is a mark of true salvation. Where true love is, other essential elements of fellowship will be found ---- forgiveness, peace, joy, kindness, tenderness, meekness, blessing and acceptance.

Delight. Yourself In The Lord

Psalm 37:4-5 Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.  Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Our true source of happiness rises above the circumstances and situations of life and rests in God Himself.

Instead of worrying and fretting we should learn to cast our burdens on the Lord and trust Him to take care of matters in His way and at His time.

Our story is still unfolding. We haven't lived through the last scene. Keep your eyes on the sky, wait patiently for the Lord to finish His plan for the ages and know that the best is yet to come.

He Touched Me

Mark 1:41-42 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.

Everything changed when the Master spoke. That leper was given a brand new life in that very moment Jesus  touched him.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Things happen when Jesus touches a life. Those who believe on Him for salvation are literally changed into “new creatures” by His amazing power. He gives them a “new birth” (John 3:3, 7), and they are never the same again.

This poor leper believed Jesus would heal him, and he was made whole when Jesus touched him.

Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, Jesus cares. He’s ready to reach into your life and touch you at the very point of your need. Simply come to Him in faith as this poor leper did.

What Grace!

Because Jesus left heaven and came into this world, He knew pain, suffering, rejection, hunger, thirst, loneliness, and many other  problems that are part of the human condition.  He suffered all that He did so that He might feel our pain and know how to comfort us when our trials come.

1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

What grace that God would fix it so that we could be saved through simple faith.  What grace that we were allowed to hear about so great a salvation. What grace that the Word of God came to our hearts in glory and the demonstration of power.  Thank God for the proclamation of the Gospel!

May we, the redeemed, never forget Who Jesus is, what He has done for us, and where He is taking us some day!

God Is In Your Tomorrow

If the Lord is going to develop you into the image of Christ He will do so through the events of your life. He will send you exactly what it is going to take to transform you into the person He saved you to be.

Jeremiah. 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

God has a plan and sometimes it involves us walking through some hard places. He knows what He’s doing. Until you walk through the valley, you can’t appreciate the mountain top.

You will never live one second or take one step in this world as a child of God without Him. God is already in your tomorrow. He is already in your “there” and when you get “there” you will find Him and what He has already left there for your provision.
