The Intimacy of God

The intimacy of God sees you as if there were no other creature in His universe. He sees you without and within. He knows your every thought and imagination before they are formed in your mind.
Psalm 139:4,7 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
God hears your unspoken prayer, interprets the message of your tears and your burdened heart.
Job 23:10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
God knows your path, the bends and the potholes. He will give you peace in your valley and joy in your dark night.
God doesn't force Himself upon anybody. We choose Him or refuse Him. Eternity (Heaven or hell) is at stake. Make the right choice.

Lest I Forget

Psalm 103.2 Bless The Lord, O my soul and forget not all his benefits.
How could I forget? How could I be so foolish as to be distracted from His glory by mundane and trivial events of life?
But for God's grace I would have squandered my life by seeking things that never satisfy. May I never forget the cross of Christ and Redemption.
And may I always remember that I am never beyond the touch of my Lord.
God has repeatedly lifted me from the jagged rocks of affliction and pain and restored me with spiritual strength and victory. May I never forget.
But we do forget from time to time. When we remember, the problems of life fade into insignificance, and God becomes more glorious and more precious than before.
Roll back the curtain of memory now and then
Show me where you brought me from
And where I could have been
Remember I'm human and human's forget
So remind me, remind me, dear Lord.

The King Is Coming!

The church impatiently awaits the return of Jesus. Prophetic signs are everywhere. Regardless of critics who redicule this part of scripture, God always keeps His promise.
Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up and life up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
I believe that the Bible teaches that after the rapture of the saints a seven year tribulation will encompass the earth.
After the tribulation the sun and moon are darkened and the stars fall from heaven and "the sign of the Son of man" will appear in heaven (Matthew 24:29,30).
Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
Signs of the times are everywhere
There's a brand new feeling in the air
Keep your eyes upon the eastern sky
Lift up your head redemption draweth nigh

We Need A Brand New World

I believe this world is slouching toward Gomorra, sliding into an immoral pit typical of the days of Noah as the Bible says. Every day I pray that God will give us righteous leaders. But don't fret. The saints of God have hope for the future.
Revelation 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, "Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people and God himself shall be with them and be their God.
This makes me homesick. Reading on, the scripture speaks of no more tears, no more separations by death, no more broken hearts, no more hurts or labors or longings.
Those who have never belived on The Lord Jesus Christ as their personal saviour won't be there. That's sad. Tears for the unbelievers will be among those Jesus wipes away.

Life And Death

Etched on a stone in a cemetery:
Here lies Joyce; She'd rather not, but she had no choice.
Life is as temporary as the morning fog (James 4:14).
Born again believers who are alive when Jesus comes for His saints will never taste death.
1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 For The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet The Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with The Lord.
Are you listening for the shout and the trumpet? Are you watching the clouds? When graves of the saints burst open, will you be shocked or will you shout "Glory"?
If I'm living above grave-dirt, "I'll Fly Away" with the resurrected saints.
I want to be found watching, waiting, and longing for Jesus. How about you? Don't be left behind. Trust in Jesus.

Cleansing--Healing--Revival

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
The key word is "IF".
"If" my people HUMBLE: When we humble ourselves to The Lord, we are saying, "I can't, but You can."
"If" my people PRAY: Pray often for revival and healing for ourselves and our nation.
"If" my people SEEK MY FACE: Our love for God should drive us to pursue Him with every fiber of our being.
"If" my people REPENT--When those calling themselves Christians are wicked, they should repent from their wicked ways and examine their lives.
NOW WE'RE READY FOR REVIVAL!

Promises

There are times when it may appear that God has forgotten some of his promises. God never forgets. He will keep every promise made to His people.
What kind of promises? All of them!
HIS PRESENCE: Hebrews 13:5 . . . . for he hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. (Any place--any time)
HIS PROVISIONS: Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Every circumstance)
HIS PEACE: Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Every problem, illness and valley)
HIS POWER: Philippians 4;13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Every situation--every day)
HIS PURPOSE: Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.(Every step, every mile)
