Every Eye Shall See Him

Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

The world has waited in anticipation for 6,000 years for the Redeemer to come.  He came the first time, born of a virgin, died on the cross to purchase our redemption, and rose from the dead.

Before Jesus returns and every eye sees Him,  He will come in the clouds to catch away His redeemed in the Rapture.

Then, one unexpected day, Christ Jesus will return to this earth in power and glory. He will defeat the enemies of God. There will be a horrible judgement. Then, He will establish His kingdom on earth, reigning 1,000 years. This time every eye will see Him come in the clouds.

Prophetic end time signs are everywhere. Are you ready to meet Jesus? Have you been redeemed --  saved – believed on the Son of God? Are your loved ones ready?

Jesus is coming!

My Best Friend Forever

John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Christ’s love for His people moves Him to lead us into the green pastures and beside the still waters of His Father's will for our lives. When Jesus is your friend, the intimate relationship knows no limits.

Saving faith in Jesus secures our salvation, but friendship is conditional. Friendship requires obedience to His commands. The Lord wants our consistent service --  not  hit and miss. He wants daily prayer, Bible study, and submission to His will.

Our motivation is love for Jesus and for others.

Jesus is the best friend you will ever have.

"It Is Finished"

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

This  is not the cry of a defeated man but the shout of One who has just won a great victory. What profound words spoken by Jesus!

Because "It is finished!", you and I can enjoy salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ without fear that our works aren't good enough.

Because “It is finished!” we can enjoy fellowship with the Lord knowing that God the Father will accept us because we have accepted His Son. We will live forever.

All that remains to be asked is,"Do you know Jesus?" If you don’t know Jesus, I pray the Holy Spirit will draw you to Him and that you will accept Him as your personal Savior.

The Vine And The Branches

John 15:5  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Born again believers in Jesus abide in Christ through prayer, study and meditation of His Word, worship and praise, and total surrender to His will. If we want to bear “much fruit” for His  glory, we must allow Him to live His life through us.

God controls the quality and quantity of that fruit,  according to His pleasure. Apart from the “Vine” we can do nothing spiritual. But if we  abide in Christ, the Vine, He will use our lives in a mighty way for his glory.

Many Christians don't want to pay the price of total surrender to the will of the Lord.

Without Him I can do nothing – without Him I’d surely fail --  without Him I would be drifting like a ship without a sail. Mylon LeFevre

Come, Lord Jesus

Our pains, sorrows and problems are temporary. Believers can find hope, comfort, and encouragement in the coming of Jesus.

Imagine what it will be like to bow at His feet and thank Him for the cross, the blood, the empty tomb, the Bible, the Holy Ghost, the church, the blessings of life, His presence, and all of the countless other great things He does for us.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The Pure Word Of God

Psalm 12:6-7 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. [7] Thou shalt keep them, O Lord , thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

As we study the Bible, we will learn about the Wonder of God, the Work of God, the Will of God, and the Ways of God!  We will receive a theological education that will enable us to serve the Lord without shame!  The Bible teaches us about the Person, Promises, Prophecies, Plan and Proof of God.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Don't swap "devotionals" for Bible study.

A Mustard Seed Faith

Luke 17:6  And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

Many folks talk about great faith. There's nothing wrong in having great faith, but Jesus says it isn’t the size of our faith that matters, but the substance of our faith. A mustard seed is very small, about the size of a pinhead, and that amount of faith is sufficient.

Every believer possesses a measure of faith, some is much stronger than others. Even the smallest amount of faith in Christ is sufficient if we believe. The major problem for most of us is that we have a small amount of faith in Christ, but trust our judgment and ability more often than we depend upon the Lord.

The substance of our faith is what makes the difference. A small amount of genuine faith in Christ will produce far more than an abundance of faith in anything else.
