As people of God, too often we can’t get beyond our obstacles because we lack faith in the promises of our Lord, then we worry and doubt.
• We worry over tomorrow, yet the Lord has said – “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” Matt. 6:34.
• We worry over material things, yet the Lord has promised – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Phil. 4:19.
• We worry about facing various things in life, yet the Lord has promised – “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Heb. 13:5.
The bottom line is this: Jesus is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-present. He knows what you are going through. He even knows more about it than you do.
Here is what He says to you: “The just shall life by faith,” Rom. 1:17; “Whatsoever is not of faith is sin,” Rom 14:23; “Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith,” Matt. 8:26.
NORMA DAVIS ---- There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus . . . Romans 8:1

The Day Of Small Things
Zechariah 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? . . . .
God can take someone who seems insignificant and make something great out of them.
He can take a little red-headed boy nobody wanted on their team and make him a great leader of men. He did that with Winston Churchill.
He can take a backward, stuttering man and use him to bring the Law of God to humanity. He did that with Moses.
He can take an awkward, shy shoe salesman and use him to shake the world for for Jesus. He did that with D. L. Moody.
What can He do with your life? Bring your mustard seed to Jesus and watch Him turn it into a massive plant for the glory of God.

God Is Faithful
Regardless of what happens in life, God is faithful.
Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
• Friends will fail, but God is faithful
• Family will fail, but God is faithful
• Funds will fail, but God is faithful
• Feelings will fail, but God is faithful
God will stand by us even when our faith is weak. Rest in Him. Trust Him. Serve Him. Believe Him.

A Perfect Peace Mind
When the king announced that all his subjects were to pray only to him, Daniel went to his room, opened his window, and prayed with supplication and thanksgiving to the God of Israel. In perfect peace He spent the night with locked-jawed lions while the king tossed and turned in his bed.
Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Perfect peace involves praying with the heart and a right mind. Wrong thinking leads to wrong feeling and soon the heart and mind are far apart and we become worried. Though they can’t be seen, thoughts are powerful.
• Sow a thought, reap an action
• Sow an action, reap a habit
• Sow a habit, reap a character
• Sow a character, reap a destiny.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Trust In The Lord
It’s easy to make a stressful situation more difficult by following our own understanding. Oh, that we would learn to seek the wisdom of God. He has all the right answers.
Prov.3:5-6 – Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
The more we sit at the Master’s table, feed on His Word, and talk with Him; the easier it is to trust Him.
Are you dealing with a stressful situation? Have you sought the Lord’s wisdom?

Run And Not Be Weary
Just as the grass appears like magic in the spring, turning the brown dreary landscape into a carpet of brilliant green, so the vitality of the believer is renewed from the vast supplies of the Lord.
Isaiah 40:30-31 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
As Dr. Warren W. Weirsbe said, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. The greatest heroes of faith are not always those who seem to be soaring; often it is they who are patiently plodding. As we wait on the Lord, He enables us not only to fly higher and run faster, but also to walk longer. Blessed are the plodders, for they eventually arrive at their destination!”

But Now Is Christ Risen
If the Resurrection of Jesus didn’t happen, believers have no hope of Heaven and the Bible isn’t true.
But Jesus was seen after the resurrection by Cephas, the twelve, five hundred brethren at once, James, all the apostles, and the Apostle Paul on the Damascus Road (1 Cor. 15:4-8).
1 Corinthians 15:19-20 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
The good news of the Gospel today is that the victory that Christ won on the cross, through the tomb, and above the clouds, is available for you and me. All who believe on Jesus will have everlasting life.
