Stunned by Jesus calming the storm, the disciples gasped at the naked wild man running toward them as they came to shore. This maniac with an unclean spirit lived in caves among the tombs, crying and cutting himself with stones.
When he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped Him. The demons ravaging his body knew who Jesus was. "What have we to do with you?" they asked.
With mercy and love, Jesus ordered the demons to leave the man. A legion of them entered a herd of pigs. The hogs stampeded into the water and drowned. The locals asked Jesus to leave because he destroyed their pigs. The gentle wild man clothed himself and became a witness. Nothing is impossible with God.
NORMA DAVIS ---- There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus . . . Romans 8:1

Don’t tell me six month old babies don’t mind their grandmas. I told James last Thursday that babies always cry at Walmart, so he could cry if he wanted. When Laura and I took him he cried and fussed big time.
Before leaving for Walmart today I told him he didn’t have to do it this time. He was a happy trooper. He listened to his grandma.
When he leaves this week, I’ll miss bouncing him on my knee, dancing around the room with him, teaching him piano, wiggling my fingers, making silly noises to make him laugh, and feeding him.
He is a blessing.

At first I kept falling asleep at the gospel singing tonight. Two reasons: 1) the first group, nine local men, sang oh-hum for forty-five minutes. 2) I got up at 6:15 a.m. and didn’t get my afternoon recliner snooze because I was playing with James. No complaints.
HisSong, three young guys, really got my attention. They were great but my eyes were still droopy. I slipped to the concession stand and bought a cup of coffee. Problem solved.
The Mike Lefevre Quartet was smooth with a great tenor. He used to sing with the Kingsmen. A scrawny looking kid sang deep bass. The baritone singer was Eva Mae Lefevre’s nephew. His son sang lead.
The Talleys really touched my heart. Their new son-in-law sang with them. I love the song their daughter, Lauren, sings about the broken ones. I bought their special CD package.
I always leave uplifted. God is good.
