Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Who would want a God who couldn't know the future regardless of people's choices? Our God not only knows the future, He is already there. It makes sense to pray because God knows all things and God controls all things.
Our God knows the beginning from the end---His eternal purpose, and His plan for the ages will be accomplished.
When the world around us seems out of control, we can know that God is in control, that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.
NORMA DAVIS ---- There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus . . . Romans 8:1

Jesus Is Coming
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Can you imagine graves of saints bursting open all over the world and bodies rising to meet Jesus in the clouds? Can you imagine born again Christians living at that time being “caught up” to meet Jesus in the air? Another definition for “caught up” in the original Greek language is “Rapture”. I’m longing for the “Rapture”.
Jesus' second coming will be in two distinct stages: First the “Rapture”, then, I believe, seven years later after the Great Tribulation, He will return to earth in all His glory, bringing His saints with Him.
The very One who could be your Savior today will then be your judge. If you have never accepted Jesus as your personal Savior, according to the inspired Word of God you won’t go to heaven. Think about it. Regardless of what you hear, Hell is real.
When Jesus came the first time men mocked Him, rejected Him and put Him to death. The second time He will come as King of Kings and Lord of Lords to rule the world in righteousness.
Come, Lord Jesus.

God Still Loves You
Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God’s never ending love is totally unconditional. In fact, there’s nothing you can do to make the Lord stop loving you. Nothing.
As the love of God shines, its glow searches hearts that have been afflicted and plunged into darkness by sin---to those who are longing for hope in a hopeless world. God loved you so much that He sent His Son Jesus to die for your sins.
The Lord wants to be your friend. Seek Him by faith. Ask Him to forgive your sins, to be your Lord and Savior and mean it with all your heart. If your relationship with Jesus has become stale, He is waiting for you with open arms to come before Him and talk about it. He wants to renew that fellowship. He never stopped loving you.
God knew we could never love Him like He loves us; but He loved us anyway. He knew there was nothing about us that merited His love; but He loved us anyway.

God's Plan For You
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Our Heavenly Father is as concerned about His saints today as He was with Israel when captured by Babylon. He knows every detail of our lives. This encourages me because I can know that the good and bad never catch Him off guard. His thoughts are of peace for us, not of evil, promising an expected end to our problems.
Someone may say, “Why doesn’t God do something about this battle I’m fighting? I’ve prayed about it. I’m trusting Him, but nothing changes.” God will move on His own time plan. Wait on Him. Keep the faith.
Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Victory In Jesus
Isaiah 25:8-9 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it . And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord ; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
When we sing the old hymn Victory in Jesus, we are singing the truth. We should think back to the battles the Lord has fought for us, and we enjoyed the victories. We may not be aware of all of them.
We have victory over the terror of the grave. We have victory over trials and broken hearts. A victorious day is coming when Jesus will wipe tears off our faces.
Victory demands a high price. The victory believers have in Jesus is ours because God paid the price of sending His Own Son to die for our sins on the cross. Obviously, the price for our salvation wasn’t cheap, but it’s free to believers. All that’s required is faith in Jesus, His Plans, His Purposes and His Power.

Who Receives God's Best?
1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
The Apostle Paul didn’t take pride in his successful missionary ministry. He knew it was the grace of God which was with him.
It would do believers good to remember that we serve "Jehovah God". He was here before anything and He will be here after everything. He controls all things that happen in between.
We are a product of the Lord’s work in our lives. What we have, what we are and where we are is because of the grace of God.
God has a wonderful plan for our lives, Rom. 8:28. His best is reserved for those who are willing to pray, study His Word, submit to his will, and follow where He leads.

God Is Good
Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. . . . .
Sooner or later we’ll need a stronghold---someone to hold onto when trouble comes, and we are too weak to stand alone. The Apostle Paul said he didn’t mind being weak because then he is strong in the Lord. I learned that first hand this year when sickness struck my family. I learned to lean on Jesus. The Lord is good.
The Lord’s children are precious to Him. He will do whatever it takes to protect them when they trust Him. When we can’t see the way, He is the way. God is good.
