About Grace And Mercy

As we dip our buckets into the ocean of God's grace and mercy, we find there's no bottom. Praise God!

Psalm 136:1  O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.

When we are fallen, frail and forgetful or when troubles come and enemies multiply, God doesn't forsake His children.

He knows when to wrap His arms around our lives and when to whisper sweet peace to our soul.

We serve a great God. He demands and deserves our praise.

When we are aware of who God is, all He has done, is doing and will do, we can't help but praise His name.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace

Hang On, Help Is Coming

Sometimes we need help for the journey. Hang on, help is coming.

Psalm 121:1  I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help.

Our helper is none other than the One who stood on the edge of nothing and made everything with the Word of His power, and He is able to help you.

Psalm 121:7  The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

God is aware of where you are and what is happening to you. He will always be there to protect you, to guard you, and to give you the resources you need to stand in the day of  battle.

He is your strong tower and your greatest gift in troublesome times.  Trust Him.

Precious

Many of us grew up hearig about the cross, the blood and the plan of salvation made possible through the Lord Jesus Christ.

We often take what we have in Jesus for granted. We fail to recognize how special it is.

Cherish your faith by living for Jesus with every fiber of your being, by passing it on to another generation. Faith is a precious thing.

2 Peter 1:4  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

In this world there aren't a lot of things we can hold on to. People change and their promises fail, but the promises of God are forever!  That makes them precious and valuable to the child of God.

That Blessed Hope

When we look at the world's declining morality, escalating violence, economic trouble, decrease in popularity of the church, and increasing evil; do we wonder if God can fix it?

We who believe the Bible should stand up and cry out, "Jesus Can!", and He will when He comes again and sets up His Kingdom on earth.

God's Word predicts this end time chaos. My hope is in the Lord.

Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 1:7 And to you who are troubled, rest with us; when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels.

Do you have that blessed hope? You can if you believe in Jesus. Ask Him to come into your heart and save you.

A Genuine Revival

As long as there have been people serving the Lord, people have been backsliding and then experiencing revival. If the Lord was to send us a genuine revival, how would we recognize it?

REDEDICATION: A return to the Word of God as the "final authority" -- God's people rededicating themselves to keep and honor its words.

REPENTANCE:  Is there a disconnect between the way we live and what the Bible says? When we come clean, we can be made clean.

1 John 1:9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

REFORMATON:  Genuine revival will move us toward holiness and godly living.

Return to the place where the Word of God is the rule and standard of our lives. Repent of our sins and make wrongs right. Now God will use us and bless us.

Have Faith In God

Biblical faith is a powerful weapon. Mountains yield to its power. Sin, Satan, and sorrow must bow before its authority. Faith is among the greatest of God's gifts to His children.

Faith has the remarkable ability to enable us to hold in our hands things that have yet to be seen, to hold in our hearts things that have yet to appear.

Answers to prayer come when we pray according to the will of God.

1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

When we pray "in Jesus' name" we are praying for His purpose and will to be fulfilled. Selfish prayers will not be answered.

God can strengthen your faith if you ask.

Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

Seeing The Risen Savior

Mark 16:6 And he saith unto them, Be not afrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth which was crucified: he is risen: he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

7. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him as he said unto you.

Those women came to the tomb that morning expecting to see a dead body. They left with the promise from the angel that they would see Jesus alive.

We weren't there to see the Risen Lord in Galilee, but we have a promise that one day we'll see His face in all His glory.. We'll see Him in the clouds, and we'll see and worship Him around the throne. We'll see Him ruling this earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

When we see Him, we'll forever be reminded of the awful price He paid for us at Calvary, a Lamb as it had been slain, bearing the marks of His love for us.
