God Will Take Care Of You

 Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

This might be a good time to praise Almighty God for His goodness. 


In the day of trouble, we can run to Him and the hurts and horrors of life cannot follow us. It’s a safe place.


God knows His people. He knows your name. He knows where you are and what you face. He even knows how many hairs are on your head. 


Because He has saved us by His grace, that gives us hope in the day of trouble.


God Will Take Care Of You

Be not dismayed whate’er betide,   —   God will take care of you;   —   Beneath His wings of love abide,   —   God will take care of you.

Til The Storm Passes By

 Though the sun is shinning, we may feel like a storm is howling around us. 

Whether health, finances, loss of a loved one, fear,  discouragement or you name it; we each have or have had our own storm.


Thank God, we know who calms the storm. Believe it.


Psalm 107:29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.


Just as Jesus calmed the raging storm at the Sea of Galilee, He will keep us safe . . . .


Til The Storm Passes By

In the dark of the midnight have I oft hid my face  —  While the storm howls above me and there's no hiding place  —  'Mid the crash of the thunder, Precious Lord, hear my cry,  —  Keep me safe till the storm passes by.


Chorus:

Till the storm passes over,  —   till the thunder sounds no more  —  Till the clouds roll forever from the sky;  —  Hold me fast, let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand  —  Keep me safe till the storm passes by.

One Day

 Hebrews 9:27-28 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 


[28] So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.


Right now the heart of the child of God longs to see the Lord Who loved them and died to save them. 


One day that desire will be fulfilled and we will look upon His face. 


On that day, we will stand before our God and be accepted by Him because of what Jesus did for us when He died on the cross.


One Day

One day when Heaven was filled with His praises,  —   One day when sin was as black as could be,  —   Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin,  —   Dwelt among men, my example is He!


Chorus:

Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me;  —   Buried, He carried my sins far away;  —   Rising, He justified freely   —   forever;  —   One day He’s coming—oh, glorious day!


One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain,  —   One day they nailed Him to die on the tree;  —   Suffering anguish, despised and rejected:  —   Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He!

Sweet Beulah Land

 John 14:1-3   Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 

[2] In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 


[3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.


If you are saved, there is a place for you in the Father’s house.


Right now we are pilgrims and strangers passing through enemy territory in this ugly world. 


But there’s hope. It will be far better when we get home - greater than our feeble, human minds can comprehend, Rev. 21-22. 


Sweet Beulah Land

I'm kind of homesick for a country   —   To which I've never been before.   —   No sad goodbyes will there be spoken   —   For time won't matter anymore.

No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus

The child of God who wants to please the Lord will learn to be humble and allow God to have the place or preeminence in his or her life, Col. 1:18.

1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 


[7] Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.


Lay your burdens at the feet of Jesus and leave them there. 


One day after preaching at a gospel crusade, Charles Weigle came home to find a note from his wife. She did not like being an evangelist's wife and was leaving him.


The next few despairing years He even wondered if anyone

really cared for him. 


After a time, his faith was restored and he became active for the Lord again.


During this time he shared the feelings he had experienced In the Hymn:


"No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus."

It Is Well With My Soul

If you want the peace of knowing Jesus personally and the assurance that you are going to Heaven, you can have it. 


You just need to believe that the blood of Jesus shed on the cross at Calvary was shed for your salvation, and that He rose from the tomb.   


Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.


Ephesians 2:8-9  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 


[9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.


After suffering the loss of his children, Horatio Spafford wrote this beautiful hymn as a testament to the salvation he found in Jesus through the good and bad times in life.


“It is well with my soul”

Just Over In The Glory Land

 2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

The word “Tabernacle” refers to “a tent, or a temporary dwelling.”  It’s used as a metaphor for these human bodies, which are a temporary home for the soul.  


When this earthly life draws to a close and we lay down these temporary bodies, we have a new body and a new life awaiting us in Heaven, Rev. 21:4; 1 Cor. 15:49-58.  


Oh, the glories of that new body and new 

home.


Thank God for that confident hope.
