All The Way My Savior Leads Me

Psalm 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

With the eyes God could give David a warning look, a warming look or a welcoming look.

How amazing that we can be so close to the Lord that He will lead us in all areas of our lives.

Psalm 37:23-24 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

[24] Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

All the way my Savior leads me.
_______________

All the way my Savior leads me,  —  What have I to ask beside?  —  Can I doubt His tender mercy,  —  Who through life has been my Guide?  —  Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,  —  Here by faith in Him to dwell.  —  For I know, whate’er befall me,  —  Jesus doeth all things well;  —  For I know, whate’er befall me,  —  Jesus doeth all things well.

“All the way my Savior leads me,  —  Cheers each winding path I tread,  —  Gives me grace for every trial,  —  Feeds me with the living Bread.  —  Though my weary steps may falter,  —  And my soul athirst may be,  —  Gushing from the Rock before me,  —  Lo! A spring of joy I see;  —  Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see.

“All the way my Savior leads me,  —  Oh, the fullness of His love!  —  Perfect rest to me is promised —  In my Father’s house above.  —  When my spirit, clothed immortal,  —  Wings its flight to realms of day.  —  This my song through endless ages:  —  Jesus led me all the way;  —  This my song through endless ages:  —. Jesus led me all the way.”

No One Understands Like Jesus

Hebrews 4:15-16 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

The phrase “touched with the feeling” also means “sympathy” or “to be affected with the same feeling”.

It’s more than just feeling our pain, it’s “knowing how we feel coupled with a desire to help”.

It’s a caring heart that reaches out to help the hurting.

[16] Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

No one understands like Jesus.
______________

“No one understands like Jesus.  —  He's a friend beyond compare;  —  Meet Him at the throne of mercy;  —  He is waiting for you there.

Chorus
No one understands like Jesus  —  When the days are dark and grim;  —  No one is so near, so dear as Jesus--  —  Cast your ev'ry care on Him.

“No one understands like Jesus;  —  Ev'ry woe He sees and feels;  —  Tenderly He whispers comfort,  —  And the broken heart He heals.

“No one understands like Jesus. —  When the foes of life assail;  —  You should never be discouraged; —  Jesus cares and will not fail.

‘No one understands like Jesus. —  When you falter on the way;  —  Tho' you fail Him, sadly fail Him,  —  He will pardon you today.”

A Child Of The King

Imagine being born into a dysfunctional, poverty stricken family with no hope for the future.
Now imagine that along comes a kind, gentle, wealthy man who tells you that he loves you and offers to take you in. All you have to do is come with him and consent to be his child.

Sounds far-fetched, doesn't it? But that‘s exactly what happens to those who places their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:16-17 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

[17] And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Not only are we the heirs of God, but we have been made joint-heirs with Jesus.

We have the privilege of sharing in the vast wealth of our heavenly Father. That’s why Phil. 4:19 means so much to us.

He is able to meet our needs no matter how great they may appear.

Praise God! I’m a child of the king!

CHORUS
“I'm a child of the King!  —  A child of the King!  —  With Jesus my Savior,  —  I'm a child of the King.

“My Father's own Son, —  The Savior of men,  —  Once wandered o'er earth as the poorest of them;  —  But now He is reigning forever on high,  —  And will give me a home in heav'n by and by.

“I once was an outcast,  —  stranger on earth,  —  A sinner by choice,  —  An alien by birth.  —  But I've been adopted,  —  my name's written down,  —  An heir to a mansion, a robe, and a crown.

Surely Goodness And Mercy

Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

It’s comforting to know that goodness and mercy will be my constant companions along the way to my Heavenly home.

Believers need to know that there is nothing in life that we can face that will be greater than God’s ability to see us through.

You see, we are following One Who plans and knows the way we take, Psa. 37:23; Job 23:10.

With Him near, there is nothing to fear.

I’m looking forward to a time when we will be in the presence of the Lord forever. John 14:1-3; Rev. 21:4; Rev. 22:3-4.

A pilgrim was I and a-wandering,  —  In the cold night of sin I did roam,  —  When Jesus the kind Shepherd found me,  —  And now I am on my way home.

Chorus
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me  —  all the days, all the days of my life.  —  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me  —  all the days, all the days of my life.

He restoreth my soul when I'm weary,  —  He giveth me strength day by day,  —  He leads me beside the still waters,  —  He guards me each step of the way.

When I walk through the dark lonesome valley,  —  My Savior will walk with me there;  —  And safely His great hand will lead me  —  To the mansions He's gone to prepare.

And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord, forever,  —  And I shall feast at the table prepared for me.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me  —  all the days, all the days of my life.  —  All the days, all the days of my life.”

Praise His Name

Psalm 136:1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

God specializes in lifting the fallen and strengthening the weak.

I’ve found a way to lighten a burden we may be going through.  It’s simple. It’s humbling.

Just praise the the Lord. Thank Him for every blessing He has ever given you.

When you do, He will receive your praise and your burden will lighten. It has happened to me many times.

There will always be a reason to praise His great Name.

I challenge you to learn to take your eyes off your problem and place them on Jesus.

God is good. Praise Him through your troubles.

“When everything falls apart   —  Praise His name.  —  When you have a broken heart,  —  raise your hands and say,  —. “Lord, You're all I need,   —  You're everything to me,”  —  And He'll take the pain away.

My Tribute

As we go about the days of our lives, sometimes we forget the many ways the Lord has blessed us.
In the Psalms, David often praised the Lord for the many things He had done for him.

Psalm 116:8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

May we never take our salvation for granted.

May we never forget the peace God gave through agonizing tears.

May we always praise Him for His mercy, holding us up when we feel we were falling.

How can we say thanks?

Chorus
“To God be the glory. — To God be the glory.  —  To God be the glory for the things He has done.  —  With His blood He has saved me.  —  With His power He has raised me.  —  To God be the glory for the things He has done.

“Just let me live my life and. —  Let it be pleasing Lord to Thee.  —  And should I gain any praise,  —  let it go to Calvary.  —  With His blood He has saved me.  —  With His power He has raised me.  —  To God be the glory for the things He has done.”

He Washed My Eyes With Tears

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
God didn’t say that all things are good, but that they will work for good.

God uses all the circumstances of life for our good.

We may not see the good right now, but we can still take comfort and rejoice in the completeness of God's promise.

This promise is only to those who love God.

God's purpose in turning everything to our good is not to bless us, make us happy, or make us wealthy.

God is making us more like Jesus.

It’s been said that the eye that is washed with tears sees the best.

“He washed my eyes with tears that I might see,  —  The broken heart I had was good for me;  —  He tore it all apart and looked inside,  —  He found it full of fear and foolish pride.  —  He swept away the things that made me blind,  —  And then I saw the clouds were silver lined;  —  And now I understand 'twas best for me.  —  He washed my eyes with tears that I might see.

He washed my eyes with tears that I might see  —  The glory of Himself revealed to me;  —  I did not know that He had wounded hands.  —  I saw the blood He spilt upon the sands.  —  I saw the marks of shame and wept and cried;  —  He was my substitute for me He died;  —  And now I'm glad He came so tenderly;  —  And washed my eyes with tears that I might see.”
