Grace And Ruined Lives

Jesus specializes in taking wasted, ruined lives and saving them by His grace, restoring them to usefulness. Every person who comes to Jesus for salvation, confessing their sins, believing He is the Son of God, receives this new lease on life

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

We get a chance to begin again, and this time with the help of God, we actually have a chance of making something out of our lives.

God Is Patient

Thank God we serve a patient God! How many times has He demonstrated that to us? Like the times we failed to walk in faith. Instead of throwing us away, He continues to love us and work in our lives. We have a patient, loving Lord.

We can trust the Lord for everything in our lives. We have a God who has demonstrated His power, His grace, His love and His character many times over.

Mark 11:22  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

Who Is Jesus?

The total hope of all mankind lies in Jesus Christ.  He's the only hope for salvationsanctification and satisfaction.  No one will ever see Heaven apart from Him or be holy apart from Him.  No one will ever know the joy of His salvation apart from Him.

He's the beginning of all the creation of God. He made this world and He sustains this world!

John 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

14.  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Jesus sacrificed His life on a cruel cross for the sins of mankind. Do you know Him? Believe on Him.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus there's just something about that name.. . . .
Master, Savior, Jesus, like the fragrance after the rain.
. . ..Kings and kingdoms will all pass away, but there's
 something about that name.

Little Is Much When God Is In It

During the highs and lows of life we sometimes forget just who God is.

Remember, He's the Creator, the Master of the sea, the Lily of the valley, the Bright and Morning Star. He's the One  Who was, Who is, and Who is to come. He has a long list of names.

John 6:9,11 There is a lad here which hath five barley loaves and two small fishes; but what are they among so many?

And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

Imagine 5,000 people filling their bellies with five loaves and two fishes. What a miracle!

Whatever burden you carry, whether it is personal, work, health, church or related to someone else: look at it, then look at the greatness and power of God Almighty. Jesus can handle it.

Little is much when God is in it.

Thank God Anyway

Regardless of how things look on the surface, believers have a reason to thank God anyway.

Habakuk 3:19 The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. .  . .  .

Strength of the believer doesn't lie within us. The Lord is our strength. When we are unable to stand, He enables us. When we can't go on, He helps us. When we are in the deep valley, He leads us to higher ground.

Hinds' feet speaks of grace, agility and swiftness. High places speak of the mountain tops where the deer is free from dangers below. God lifts us to the mountain, above the battle.

We must learn to lean on Jesus during peril and thank Him anyway.

Salty Saints

Some of the various names God gives His children in the Bible are sheep, brethren, little ones, etc. When Jesus gives us the name "salt", He's reminding us that we have the opportunity and responsiibility to be an influence in the world. As salt flavors food, "Salty Saints" flavor the world.

Matthew 5:13  Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted?  It is thenceforth good for nothing but to be cast out and to be trodden under foot of men.

When we allow our testimony to become tainted by sin and the world, men will walk upon our testimony and we become useless to the Lord as a witness.

Are you a salty Christian? By the grace of God we can be all that God wants us to be when we surrender our life to Him.
