We Need God’s Wisdom

We need God’s wisdom in our lives. We don’t always know what to do.

It’s easy to make a stressful situation more difficult by going in our own understanding.

Stress is often brought on by problems that seem to have no solution. We need to seek spiritual discernment in the decisions we make.

Prov.3:5-6  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Are you dealing with a stressful situation? Have you sought the Lord’s wisdom in coming to a solution?

You Are Precious To The Lord

The Lord is intensely interested in what is happening in your life and mine. We are reminded that He is touched with the feeling of our infirmities, Heb. 4:15

His eye is on every detail of our lives, Heb. 4:13. He is ever present, Heb. 13:5

Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

It may seem like life is out of control and it is out of your control, but never out of God’s control.

In the end you will end up exactly where you are supposed to be. You are precious to the Lord.

God Is All We Need

The saints of God should rejoice to know that everything that happens is in God's plan and that He is in control of all things even when we don’t understand.

None of us know what we will face in the future, but we can know that God in Heaven will give us the strength we need to face it.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

God is all we need.

God Is Mindful Of Us

Elijah had fled for his life and found himself in the wilderness, but He was not alone. As he slept in his despair, God sent an angel to minister to Him.

1 Kings 19:5-6 And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat. And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baked on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.

Isn’t it good to know we serve One who is mindful of us? We may be in the wilderness of life, feeling as if we are all alone and hopeless, but God knows where we are and what we need.

Even when we are unfaithful and undeserving, God is faithful.

The Greatness Of God

We can always praise the Lord for His greatness.

He is the God of creation Who said “Let there be…” and there was,

His power is awesome and limitless.

Isaiah 40:12 Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand,
and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of
the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the
hills in a balance?

It is this power that He extends to us in salvation and in our support day
by day.

When you are overwhelmed by life, remember who your God is and
what He has done.

Then remember that He is still able, Eph. 3:20.

When you trust Him, His power becomes your power.

Genuine Faith

Abraham leaned on the providence of God, trusting Him to do that which was best in his life. It wasn’t an easy life, but it was a life of faith—a life that honored God.

Hebrews 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

Genuine faith follows God.

Genuine faith knows that God can be trusted—that God always knows best.

Genuine faith always proves its reality in faithful works and humble obedience, Eph. 2:10

Christ Lives In Me

Believers shouldn’t live in and of ourselves. We are not expected to make our own way or forge our own path.

Christ is our life. He is the essence of our being. We are complete in Him. I stand in need of nothing my Lord is unable to provide.

Gal.2:20 – I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

I face no trial or adversity that is beyond His sovereign control. Death may one day claim this mortal body, but then I will live as never before.
