After being rejected, hated, mocked, imprisoned, and ignored; ----After seeing his beloved Jerusalem ransacked, desecrated and destroyed; ----After experiencing the horror of war, the brutality of the enemy and the pangs of hunger; Jeremiah stood in the rubble of the city midst dead bodies, praising God for His great unfailing faithfulness to His people.
Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
As you face the storms, trials and valleys of life, God will prove Himself to be steadfast and faithful. You can count on the Lord. Believe it.
NORMA DAVIS ---- There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus . . . Romans 8:1

How To Be Content
Philippians 4:12-13 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
The Apostle Paul knew how to be content. He had needs. He snored, sneezed, scratched, and got cold and hungry.
We have needs---food, shelter, clothing, health or even peace of mind. God knows what they are, but He wants us to tell Him. He wants us to trust Him.
Whether directly or indirectly, God will meet our needs, maybe in unusual ways.
How to be content:
1. Rejoice in what we have.
2. Rejoice in our situation. It could be worse.
3. Realize our strength is in the Lord.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

The Gospel Of Christ
Everything man looks for in religion---peace with God, acceptance by God, a right relationship with God, etc, are given to the believer when he or she receives the Gospel message. That’s a message worth sharing.
Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Salvation is for every one regardless of race, social standing, education, ability, wickedness, etc. Only the sin of unbelief will keep them from salvation.
Why would anyone be ashamed of a message as powerful, as profound, and needed as the Gospel? It’s a life-changing message.

Believe
Something to think about as you store your festive Christmas décor for next year.
1. Be thankful that Jesus was born on earth to grow up and be our Savior, but don’t leave Him in the manger.
2. Be thankful that Jesus agonized on a bloody cross for your sins --- your salvation, but don’t leave Him on the cross.
3. Rejoice that He rose from the grave to give life everlasting to those who believe on Him. Worship Him.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Have you believed on Jesus, by faith asked Him to save your soul, to come into your heart?
