Salvation

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The greatest thought to grip the human mind is this: “Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so!”.  

The second greatest is this: There is nothing we can do to make Him stop loving me - Rom. 8:38-39. 

I’m glad I trusted Jesus —  His finished work at the bloody cross and His resurrection from the dead — as my only hope of salvation.

One day He is coming for me and for you if you are a believe. What a day that will be.!

Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me;  —- Buried, He carried my sins far away; —- 

Rising, He justified freely forever; —-  One day He's coming-O glorious day!

God’s Plan

Poor Joseph. Thrown in a pit by his wicked brothers to die, but sold as a slave to a merchant going to Egypt instead. 

Joseph was falsely accused of rape by Pharaoh’s wife and thrown into prison. But He loved God and the Lord was with Him all the time. God meant it for good. 

Eventually he was released from prison to interpret Pharaoh's  dream and Pharaoh made him ruler over Egypt — second to himself. His brothers, buying food during a time of famine, unknowingly bowed to him. 

When God allows times of sorrow, suffering or pain in our lives, it’s always for our good and for His glory.  

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Be assured that if you love God, He can take your life with all its ups and downs, blend it with His grace, add a heaping portion of His love and transform it into a thing of great beauty and blessing. 

God has an eternal plan for our lives and nothing will ever be able to change that plan.  He is busy reproducing Himself in each of us.

Worry And Peace

Nowhere does the Bible attempt to downplay the existence of problems. In fact, it tells us quite plainly that problems will stalk us as long as we live, Job 14:1; John 16:33; Eccl. 2:23. 

Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

When it comes to worrying over the problems we face, God has one word to say: Don’t!  The phrase “be careful for nothing” literally means “Don’t worry about anything!” 

Worry will choke the life right out of you. 

But the peace of God will calm the heart though your storm still rages. It’s a mysterious thing, but it’s God’s gift to those who will trust in Him “in everything”.  

It’s a divine peace that can’t be disrupted by the problems, disturbances and difficulties of life.  

It is a peace that can’t waiver or be shaken or be destroyed. 

Job had this kind of peace.  Daniel had this kind of peace.  The three Hebrew boys had this kind of peace.  David had this kind of peace.  I have had this kind of peace and it is amazing.

At The End Of The Way.

Those who walk the King’s highway experience His peace, Phil. 4:7; His joy, 1 Pet. 1:8; His presence, Heb. 13:5; and His blessings, Phil. 4:19, Matt. 6:25-34

Isaiah 35:9-10 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: 

[10] And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

.The road the Redeemed travel today leads to glory. Sometimes it’s level and easy to navigate. At other times it’s rough and steep. 

Regardless of the path we are called to walk through this life, the King’s highway leads His pilgrims home. 

There is “joy and gladness” at the end of the way. “Sorrow and sighing will flee away” when the pilgrims reach the end of the road. 

There is a mansion at the end of the way, John 14:1-3. There is a glorious city at the end of the way, Rev. 21:9-22:5. 

There is a place of peace, joy and blessing at the end of the road, Rev. 21:4. We will meet the King face to face at the end of the way, Rev. 22:4.
