Precious Lord, Take My Hand

Isaiah 41:13  For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

What comfort!

I never would’ve made it this far without Jesus holding my hand

The good Lord wants to enable us to walk with Him, have fellowship with Him, and know Him.

Precious Lord, Take My Hand

Precious Lord, take my hand,  —   Lead me on, let me stand,   —    I am tired, I am weak, I am worn; — Through the storm, through the night, — Lead me on to the light: —  Take my hand, precious Lord,   —    Lead me home.

When my way grows drear,   —    Precious Lord, linger near,   —    When my life is almost gone,   —    Hear my cry, hear my call,   —    Hold my hand lest I fall:   —    Take my hand, precious Lord,   —    Lead me home.

When the darkness appears   —    And the night draws near,   —    And the day is past and gone, — At the river, I stand, —  Guide my feet, hold my hand:   —    Take my hand, precious Lord,   —    Lead me home.

Jesus Is The Sweetest Name I Know

Philippians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

The name of Jesus brings:

Help to the helpless, —  peace to the tormented,  —  rest to the restless,  —  hope to the hopeless, and  —  comfort to the comfortless.

This name has cooled the fevered brow, —  broken the chains of sin, —  delivered the captive, and  —  thrilled the saint.

Jesus is The Sweetest Name I Know

_______________________________

There have been names that I have loved to hear,   —   But never has there been a name so dear   —   To this heart of mine, as the name divine,   —   The precious, precious name of Jesus.

Chorus:

Jesus is the sweetest name I know, —  And He’s just the same as His lovely name, — And that’s the reason why I love Him so; —  Oh, Jesus is the sweetest name I know.

There is no name in earth or Heav’n above,   —   That we should give such honor and such love   —   As the blessed name, let us all acclaim,   —   That wondrous, glorious name of Jesus. - - -

And someday I shall see Him face to face   —   To thank and praise Him for His wondrous grace,   —   Which He gave to me, when He made me free,   —   The blessed Son of God called Jesus. - - -

The Unclouded Day

Revelation 22:2,5  In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

[5] And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

This is the place that Jesus went to prepare [John 14:2].

The Bible gives us a description that boggles the mind and goes far beyond anything that we as humans can imagine.

This is a glimpse of the believer’s new home.

Oh, they tell me of a home far beyond the skies,    —    Oh, they tell me of a home far away;    —    Oh, they tell me of a home where no storm clouds rise,    —    Oh, they tell me of an unclouded day.

CHORUS:

Oh, the land of cloudless day,    —    Oh, the land of an unclouded sky, — Oh, they tell me of a home where no storm clouds rise,    —    Oh, they tell me of an unclouded day. - - -

Oh, they tell me of a home where my friends have gone, — Oh, they tell me of that land far away,    —    Where the tree of life in eternal bloom    —    Sheds its fragrance through the unclouded day. - - -

Oh, they tell me of a King in His beauty there,    —    And they tell me that mine eyes shall behold    —    Where He sits on the throne that is whiter than snow,    —    In the city that is made of gold. - - -

Oh, they tell me that He smiles on His children there, — And His smile drives their sorrows all away; — And they tell me that no tears ever come again — In that lovely land of unclouded day. - - -

I Must Tell Jesus

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

When we are burdened it touches the heart of God, and He is moved on our behalf.

I Must Tell Jesus

________________

I must tell Jesus all of my trials,    —    I cannot bear these burdens alone; — In my distress He kindly will help me, — He ever loves and cares for His own.

CHORUS:

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!    —    I cannot bear my burdens alone; — I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus! — Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.

I must tell Jesus all of my troubles,    —    He is a kind, compassionate Friend; — If I but ask Him He will deliver, — Make of my troubles quickly an end.

O how the world to evil alures me?    —    O how my heart is tempted to sin? — I must tell Jesus, and He will help me — Over the world the vict’ry to win.
