Jesus Is All The World To Me

Philippians 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

I came to this decision twenty-three years ago when I received a stage four breast cancer diagnosis.

Either enjoy close fellowship with the Lord here or rejoice in Heaven.

Other than peace through the treatment, I also had no nausea; an answer to prayer.

Jesus Is All The World To Me

Jesus is all the world to me, — My life, my joy, my all; — He is my strength from day to day,   —   Without Him I would fall.   —   When I am sad, to Him I go,   —   No other one can cheer me so;   —   When I am sad, He makes me glad,   —   He’s my Friend.

Jesus is all the world to me, — My Friend in trials sore; — I go to Him for blessings, and   —  He gives them o’er and o’er.  —   He sends the sunshine and the rain,   —   He sends the harvest’s golden grain; — Sunshine and rain, harvest of grain, — He’s my Friend.

Jesus is all the world to me, — And true to Him I’ll be; — Oh, how could I this Friend deny, — When He’s so true to me? — Following Him I know I’m right,   —   He watches o’er me day and night;   —   Following Him by day and night,   —   He’s my Friend.

Jesus is all the world to me, — I want no better Friend; — I trust Him now, I’ll trust Him when   —   Life’s fleeting days shall end.   —   Beautiful life with such a Friend,   —   Beautiful life that has no end; — Eternal life, eternal joy, — He’s my Friend.

He Leadeth Me

Exodus 15:13 Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.

We don’t always like where the path of life leads, but if we are following the Lord, we can be assured that He will lead us in the right path.

Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

He Leadeth Me

He leadeth me: O blessed thought!   —   O words with heavenly comfort fraught!   —   Whate'er I do, where'er I be,   —   Still 'tis God's hand that leadeth me.

CHORUS:

He leadeth me, he leadeth me;   —   By his own hand he leadeth me:   —   His faithful follower I would be,   —   For by his hand he leadeth me.

Lord, I would clasp thy hand in mine   —   Nor ever murmur nor repine;   —   Content, whatever lot I see,   —   Since 'tis my God that leadeth me. - - -

And when my task on earth is done,   —   When, by thy grace, the victory's won, — E'en death's cold wave I will not flee, —  Since God thro’ Jordan leadeth me. - - -

Heaven Came Down

Titus 3:4-6 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

[5] Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

[6] Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

What is the message of the Gospel?

God loves you!

Christ died for you!

God will save you by His grace!

Heaven Came Down

O what a wonderful, wonderful day — Day i will never forget; — After i'd wandered in darkness away, — Jesus my Savior i met. — O what a tender compassionate friend, —  He met the need of my heart. —  Shadows dispelling, with joy i am telling   —    He made all the darkness depart.

CHORUS:

Heaven came down and glory filled my soul.  — When at the cross my Savior made me whole. —  My sins were washed away —  And my night was turned to day.  —  Heaven came down and glory filled my soul.

Born of the spirit with life from above. —  Into God's fam'ly divine, —   Justified fully thro’ Calvary's love, — O what a standing is mine! — And the transaction so quickly was made   —   When as a sinner i came,   —   Took of the offer of grace he did proffer  —  He saved me, o praise his dear name! - - -

Now, i've a hope that will surely endure — After the passing of time;   —   I have a future in heaven for sure,   —   There in those mansions sublime.   —   And it's because of that wonderful day   —   When at the cross i believed   —   Riches eternal and blessings supernal   —   From his precious hand i received.

My Tribute

Psalm 116:12 What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?

The words of the Psalmist should be our own question.  How do we feel about what Jesus has done in our lives?

Perhaps, we need to renew our commitment to Him, express our love,

and lift our praise for His Salvation.

My Tribute

______________

How can I say thanks  — for the things You have done for me?    —  Things so undeserved,  —  yet You gave to prove Your love for me;  — The voices of a million angels  — could not express my gratitude.  —  All that I am and ever hope to be,   —  I owe it all to Thee.

CHORUS:

To God be the glory,    —    to God be the glory,    —    to God be the glory   —  for the things He has done.  —  With His blood He has saved me,  —  with His power He has raised me;  —  to God be the glory   —  for the things He has done.

[Bridge:]

Just let me live my life  —  let it be pleasing, Lord to Thee,  —  and if I gain any praise,  —  let it go to Calvary.   —   With His blood He has saved me,  —  with His power He has raised me;  —  to God be the glory   —  for the things He has done.
