When God's Word -- the hope of the world

. . . piercing light through the darkness -- is lifted up, it will prosper.
Isaiah 55:10 For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth and maketh it bring forth the bud that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the water;
11. So shall my Word be that goeth forth out of my mouth; it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Tonight, as the Kountze, Texas Lions tear through the huge scripture sign made by the cheerleaders, lives around the world will be touched again.
From the beginning of human history, Satan has opposed God's Word. Throughout the history of the church, the Word of God has been attacked, yet it still stands. Why? Because dedicated believers have guarded it, faithfully passing it to each generation by the power of God. Regardless of opposition, God's Word will accomplish His purpose.
