When things go wrong it doesn't mean that God has forsaken you or doesn't love you or that you are not important to Him. Things can go wrong even if you are doing everything right in your Christian life.
Remember, God did not save us from trouble, but from sin. He did not save the Hebrew Children from the fiery furnace; He saved them in the furnace.
1 Peter 1:6,7 . . . if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.
Sometimes we must go through the fire because:
- God is trying to make us sweet
- God is removing those things that are not pleasing to Him
- God is correcting an attitude
- God is teaching us to lean on Him
- God wants to use us to do something special for Him
God promises that you will never have more trouble than you can bear.
