THE ACT OF TITHING IS PERSONAL WORSHIP

We should tithe because we are commanded to, and love obeys God's commands.

Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith saith The Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Over the years I've heard stories from believers who paid tithes when they didn't think they had the money, but God blessed them in surprising ways. You can never out-give God. The word "tithe" means "tenth". Tithing is God's method for funding and furthering His work. 

Paying ten percent of your income is not something you try, it is something you trust God by doing. It is an act of worship and obedience. 

Whether you give more than ten percent or less, it is nobody's business. It's between you and God.
