Mark 16:6 And he saith unto them, Be not afrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth which was crucified: he is risen: he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
7. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him as he said unto you.
Those women came to the tomb that morning expecting to see a dead body. They left with the promise from the angel that they would see Jesus alive.
We weren't there to see the Risen Lord in Galilee, but we have a promise that one day we'll see His face in all His glory.. We'll see Him in the clouds, and we'll see and worship Him around the throne. We'll see Him ruling this earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
When we see Him, we'll forever be reminded of the awful price He paid for us at Calvary, a Lamb as it had been slain, bearing the marks of His love for us.
