Are You Happy?

Recently, while dining out with my husband at a local Chinese restaurant, a ruckus from the kitchen spilled into the order area. Three screaming Chinese guys brawled for fifteen minutes or so. One with angry fists and his cap turned backwards was louder than the others. An ordering customer walked out. The manager ran after him. The angry fists guy finally stormed out of the building. I couldn’t understand what they said, but I knew they weren’t happy.

There’s a lot of unhappiness in this world. Some Christians are unhappy. The pressures of life tend to entangle them, and they can’t get the knots out. They need to  give them to Jesus.

I’ve noticed the unhappy knots in my life untangle as I praise the name of Jesus and reflect on the hope that lies within me.

When you can’t untie the knots, God wants to help you. Ask Him and He will because He loves you.

Psalm 146:5  Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

To the unbeliever, only Jesus can satisfy your soul.
