2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
The fact is, these bodies we wear are wearing out. Someone has said that you know you are aging when:
• It takes you longer to rest up than it did to get tired.
• Most of your dreams are re-runs.
• Your mind signs contracts that your body can't keep.
I’d rather be absent from this body and present with the Lord. Many of my loved ones are already there. Trials, burdens and sin can’t enter that place---neither will death, tears, evil, sadness or grief. My new home is being prepared in this perfect place. Only those Redeemed by the grace of God will be there.
