Can we be patient and silent during difficult days while the Lord works out His purpose in our lives?
Jesus gave us an example. When He was abused, mocked and crucified, He endured His afflictions in silence.
Isa. 53:7, "He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth."
Regardless of your burden learn not to whine. Bear it for the glory of God, then wait patiently for Him to work out His will in your life.
This isn't easy, but it’s an attitude that God can bless and use for His glory.
Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Teach me, Lord, to wait.
