Run With Patience

Believers are told to "run with patience the race which is set before us."

Hebrews 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Sometimes life is good. The road is smooth and the way is easy.

And sometimes it feels like you’re running blindfolded uphill through a minefield.

When life becomes a struggle get rid of fleshly hindrances and run the race with "patience".

The only way we can run the race with patience is to keep our eyes focused on Jesus.

God never said it would be easy. He said the opposite.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
