On the eve of His death Jesus takes the time to encourage His Disciples and every person who takes the time to read and heed these words from the mouth of the Lord in John 14.
“Let not your heart be troubled,” He says. He also tells them about the Comforter—the Holy Ghost.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
It’s the Comforter who teaches the Bible, revealing the deep things of God to us. The Comforter teaches us how to reach our fullest potential for the glory of God. He is a divine Instructor.
When we become discouraged the Comforter wraps His arms of Heavenly love and protection around us, reminding us that we belong to God.
The Comforter encourages us to keep on living for Jesus, to press forward for the glory of the Lord. Read John 14 and praise God.
