The Fullness Of God

Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians was not the usual —“bless me and mine and make us happy,”— but “Lord, do whatever it takes to make us holy.

Ephesians 3:17-19 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

When the people of God yield to the Spirit of God and let Him control us, there’s no lack of power and glory and blessings for us.

Sadly, most believers live like spiritual paupers but possess limitless spiritual wealth. They are more concerned with the physical than the spiritual.

When we dip the puny buckets of our lives into the vast ocean of God’s glory, we are instantly filled with Him.

But these finite vessels cannot contain all that He is. Yet, we find that being open to His power, His glory and His fullness enables us to hold even more of Him.
