Each believer has a different level of spiritual understanding. When our hearts and minds are controlled by the Word of God under the direction of the Spirit of God, He enables us to understand the deep things of God and how they relate to everyday life.
God’s plan for us is that we will come to “the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ,” Eph. 4:13.
When you grasp this truth it will change your life. You will see every blessing and every disruption in the light of God working in your life to make you more like Jesus.
So, Paul prays that we will understand the mysteries of God. That should be our prayer as we study the Word and surrender to the Spirit of God. .
