Peace

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Our feelings come from the heart. Our mind is where we do our thinking. When we see our burdens and  fears through human eyes we will develop wrong feelings and wrong thoughts. We need peace.

Peace is “a mind blowing experience”.  It’s when you are calm in the heart and mind despite the turmoil raging around you.

It’s a mysterious thing, but it’s God’s gift to those who trust in Him “in everything”. It’s the kind of peace Jesus promised His disciples,

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Job, Daniel, the 3 Hebrew boys, and David are only a few that had this kind of peace. I’ve had this kind of peace and it’s amazing!

Don’t let worry rob your peace. Give it to Jesus. Trust Him.
