Jesus And The World

On the very first Christmas, earth was not aware of what was happening in heaven.

As a mighty host of Holy Angels waited to worship the newborn king, a farewell was going on in heaven between God the Father and God the Son. This conversation is recorded in the book of Hebrews:

Hebrews 10:5-7 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: . . . In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. . . .  Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

Bethlehem happened so Calvary could happen.

Jesus came to this earth as a baby and grew up a sinless man, who died for the sins of the world—to offer men and women who believe on Him salvation, a pardon—forgiveness of sins—and eternal life.

Have you believed on Jesus? If not, seek Him.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
