Nowhere does the Bible attempt to downplay the existence of problems. In fact, it tells us quite plainly that problems will stalk us as long as we live in this world, Job 14:1; John 16:33; Eccl. 2:23.
The Bible sheds some light on how we are to handle these problems.
Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
The phrase “be careful for nothing” literally means “Don’t worry about anything!”
God is saying, “Don’t worry.”
When we worry, we have ceased to trust the Lord, and that’s a sin.
Yesterday can’t be changed. Only the Lord holds the power to affect our tomorrow. Today is the only day we have and with God's help, we can face anything that comes our way, Phil. 4:13.
If worry is eating you alive, tell the good Lord. Trust Him with today and tomorrow.
