If we would have effective prayer lives, we need to get serious about prayer and make it our priority.
James 4:6,8 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. . . . . .Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Humble yourselves when you come before God, knowing you are speaking to the Almighty Creator of the Universe and He loves you more than anyone.
Thank Him for His blessings.
Maybe you want to pray for your lost family.
Maybe you want to pray for your brothers and sisters in Christ who are struggling.
Maybe you are out of God’s will and need to get right with Him.
Maybe you are not saved and would like to be.
There’s something about those prayers that really mean business. God knows our hearts and our motives.
Bring them to the Lord with faith.
