Rest Stops

Psalm 23:1-2 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

Despite how we feel sometimes, life isn't all bad.

We would have to admit that there are times when the Lord inserts some peace into our lives.

He allows us to pass by some "still waters" He causes us to "lie down in green pastures."

I thank God for those times. Just as surely as the troubles of life are sent  to grow, mature and strengthen us, the rest periods are sent for their purpose as well.

I believe the Lord gives us times of refreshment and peace to help us recover from past battles and prepares us for trials ahead.
