The fact that the Lord is ever with His children is a blessing that towers above anything enjoyed by the wicked.
It means we are never alone.
It means that in every valley, every dark night of the soul, every illness, every situation in life, we have the blessed presence of the Lord to comfort us.
He is always there. Matt. 28:20; Heb. 13:5.
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
“The world’s fierce winds are blowing, temptation sharp and keen.
I have a peace in knowing my Savior stands between—
He stands to shield me from danger when my friends are all gone.
He promised never to leave me, never to leave me alone!” — Anonymous
