Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
We are invited to surrender to the will of God — everything we are, have and hope to be. When we do, we will find genuine satisfaction for our souls — rest from our burdens.
Jesus says His yoke is easy. Is He saying that life will be perfect? No. He’s saying that He personally designed a unique yoke just for each of us.
That’s why He can say that His burden is light. When we are surrendered to the Lord's yoke, we will be satisfied, even in the midst of trials and afflictions.
The more we learn of Jesus we will find His marvelous, amazing meekness and lowliness in heart priceless.
