COME UNTO ME
Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
[29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
[30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Jesus says that His yoke is easy. What does He mean? It means that "His yoke fits".
When we surrender to the Lord and to His will for our lives, we can be confident that He has perfectly and individually designed a yoke just for us.
That’s why He can also say that His burden is light. When we are surrendered to the Lord's yoke and are pulling the burden He has designed for us, there will be satisfaction, even in the midst of trials and afflictions.
It would do us good to learn to surrender to the yoke, because nothing fits our lives so well as the plan which Jesus has designed for it.
The Lord will allow nothing to harm us, but we can know that every burden we are called upon to pull has been placed there for our good, Rom. 8:28.

“Hear the blessed Savior calling the oppressed, — “Oh, ye heavy-laden, come to Me and rest; — Come, no longer tarry, I your load will bear, — Bring Me every burden, bring Me every care.
“Come unto Me, I will give you rest; — Take My yoke upon you, hear Me and be blest; — I am meek and lowly, come and trust My might; — Come, My yoke is easy, and My burden’s light.
“Are you disappointed, wand’ring here and there, — Dragging chains of doubt and loaded down with care? — Do unholy feelings struggle in your breast? — Bring your case to Jesus — He will give you rest”
