Take Your Burden To The Lord And Leave It There

God's people are different. They serve a living God, a God who is mighty in power and able to do anything.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

When God's saints call on the name of Jesus, heavy with burdens, Heaven begins to mobilize in their aid. We have a God who is able to hear and is able to answer his children.

Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Matthew 7:7-8 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: . . . .  [8] For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

“If the world from you withholds of its silver and its gold, — And you have to get along with meager fare, — Just remember, in His Word how He feeds the little bird; — Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.

Leave it there, leave it there, — Take your burden to the Lord oh and leave it there. — If you trust and never doubt, — He will surely bring you out. — Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.

“If your body suffers pain and your health you can't regain, — And your soul is slowly sinking in despair, — Jesus knows the pain you feel, He can save and He can heal; — Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.”
