LOVE LIFTED ME
When I was ten years old God lovingly asked me to accept Him as my personal Savior. He would forgive me and give me eternal life.
I thought about it a few days, even had nightmares, knowing I was a sinner and wouldn’t go to Heaven unless I believed in Jesus. It was at a tent revival meeting in Granby, Missouri that I got saved.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
I remember kneeling on the straw at the alter after the message, bawling my eyes out and asking Jesus to forgive my sins. I’ll never forget the sweet peace that soothed my soul.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: . . . . [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Thank God for His amazing grace and love that drew me to Him! I wish everybody was saved.
