I am excited about going to Heaven. I look forward to joining my voice with the redeemed saints, praising the One Who sought me, bought and delivered my from my sins.
Revelation 5:11-12 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
[12] Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Nettie Dudley Washington dreamed about Heaven and wrote about it in a song that makes me homesick for Heaven very time I hear it.
I Bowed On My Knees And Cried Holy
________________________________
I dreamed I went to that city called Glory. — So bright and so fair; — When I entered the gates I cried, “Holy,” — The angels all met me there. — They showed me from mansion to mansion — And oh, the sights I saw, — But I said, “I want to see Jesus, — The One who died for all.”
Chorus
Then I bowed on my knees and cried, — “Holy, Holy, Holy.” — I clapped my hands and sang, “Glory, — Glory to the Son of God.”
I thought as I entered that city — My friends knew me well, —
They showed me all thru heaven, — The scenes are too num’rous to tell. — They showed me Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, — Mark, Luke, and Timothy — But I said, I want to give praise — To the One who died for me.
I thought when I saw my Savior: — oh, glory to God! — I just fell right down before Him. — Singing praise the name of the Lord. — I bowed down and worshipped Jehovah, — My friend of Calvary. — For I wanted to give praise to Jesus — For saving a sinner like me.
