Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
David’s plan is to live for the Lord, love the Lord, and to lean on the Lord for everything he needs and does.
I think that is a worthy goal for every believer.
Our Lord Jesus Christ deserves nothing less, and nothing less will be blessed by the Lord.
The Solid Rock

When darkness veils His lovely face, — I rest on His unchanging grace; — In every high and stormy gale, — My anchor holds within the veil.
CHORUS:
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; — All other ground is sinking sand, — All other ground is sinking sand.
His oath, His covenant, His blood — Support me in the whelming flood; — When all around my soul gives way, — He then is all my hope and stay.
When He shall come with trumpet sound, — Oh, may I then in Him be found; — Dressed in His righteousness alone, —
Faultless to stand before the throne.
