Silent Night

Luke 2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Imagine the same God who made the universe and all the treasures found within that universe came into this world as a little Baby.

His humble birth signified the kind of life Jesus would live here.

At one point He had no place to call home, Matt. 8:20.  When He died, others provided the place and the things necessary for His burial, John 19:38-42.

It’s hard for me to comprehend.

Silent Night! Holy Night!

Silent night, holy night — All is calm, all is bright  —  Round yon virgin Mother and Child,   —    Holy infant so tender and mild.   —    Sleep in heavenly peace;   —    Sleep in heavenly peace.

Silent night, holy night!   —    Shepherds quake at the sight!   —    Glories stream from heaven afar;   —    Heavenly hosts sing Al-le-lu-ia!   —    Christ the Savior is born!   —    Christ the Savior is born!

Silent night, holy night   —    Son of God, love's pure light,   —    Radiant beams from Thy holy face — With the dawn of redeeming grace. — Jesus, Lord at Thy birth   —    Jesus, Lord at Thy birth
