Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Ephesians 2:7-9 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
[8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
[9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Thank you, Jesus, for redeeming us from sin when we believed on you.
Thank you for your saving grace. That’s why we call it amazing.
Amazing Grace

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound — That saved a wretch like me! — I once was lost, but now am found; — Was blind, but now I see.
’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, — And grace my fears relieved; — How precious did that grace appear — The hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils, and snares, — I have already come; — ’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, — And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me, — His Word my hope secures; — He will my Shield and Portion be, — As long as life endures.
When we’ve been there ten thousand years, — Bright shining as the sun, — We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise — Than when we’d first begun.
John Newton 1779
