1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
We are born children of God by faith in Jesus Christ, and faith is the only way in which you and I will be able to overcome this world around us.
1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
