...When His work was finished he returned to the Father. We, His redeemed, are to shine for Him. Of course, the light which shines through us is a reflected light. So we are to "let" our light shine.
The light of our churches must not fail. A church can fail by forgetting her mission, her message, and her Master. As Christians we must affirm our beliefs in the Word of God and spirit-filled churches.
Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Never forget the light of your salvation, Jesus Christ. Be happy and witness to others about the Light of the world.
Philippians 2:14,15 Do all things without murmuring and disputing that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God without rebuke in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.
We must look forward to Christ's return. We must separate ourselves from the world by putting God first in our lives; then we will shine.
